Change For Success Logo
Janine, the founder of Change For Success, approached me with the need for a refreshed logo that would better reflect her brand’s professional image while resonating with her corporate client base. The original logo was outdated, and Janine wanted something modern, yet timeless, that would embody the values of personal growth, balance, and success, which are at the core of her business.
The Challenge
The key challenge was to modernize an outdated logo while maintaining its essence of transformation and success.
Janine’s brand needed a more corporate, professional look to appeal to her established client base, which consisted primarily of businesses and professionals. She also wanted to retain a sense of personal connection with her clients, meaning the new design had to reflect both her background and the purpose of her work—facilitating change and empowering success.
Additionally, Janine knew she wanted to incorporate purple into the design, while also exploring complementary colors to create a dynamic, balanced look.
Solution
To address these needs, I focused on creating a logo that would stand out in a corporate environment while also holding personal meaning for Janine. We used the yin and yang symbol as a central element of the design to represent balance, harmony, and transformation—key principles that Janine’s work is built upon.
Within the yin and yang symbol, I introduced a subtle gap in the middle that forms the letter “S” in the white space, representing “Success” and reinforcing the brand name. To further emphasize the concept of change and balance, the symbol was encircled by a C, standing for “Change”—making the final design a unique and stand-alone representation of the Change for Success brand.
The color palette was carefully chosen to convey professionalism and creativity. Purple was incorporated as the primary color, symbolizing wisdom, transformation, and ambition, which aligned with Janine’s values. To complement the purple and bring a refreshing, balanced feel to the logo, mint green was added, adding a touch of calmness and growth, while keeping the overall design vibrant and modern.
For the typography, I combined a script font with a more corporate-style typeface. This combination blended a personal, approachable feel with the professional, polished image Janine desired for her brand. The script font adds a sense of elegance and human touch, while the corporate font grounds the design in a more professional tone.
Outcome
The result is a sophisticated, modern logo that reflects both Janine’s professional expertise and her commitment to guiding clients through meaningful transformation. The yin and yang symbol with its clever use of white space for the “S” creates a powerful, memorable mark that stands for change and success. The color scheme of purple and mint green strikes a perfect balance between creativity and professionalism, while the combination of script and corporate fonts gives the logo both personality and authority.
This new logo is a reflection of Change For Success’s mission—empowering individuals and organizations to create positive change and achieve success, all while maintaining a timeless, corporate aesthetic.
